Online polls echo strong opposition to tankers, pipeline

It’s been a few months since a Mustel Group poll showed 80 percent of British Columbians support a ban on oil tanker traffic in B.C.‘s inside northern waters, but a recent online poll by the Globe and Mail shows support for a ban is remaining strong.
Even more telling is the fact that the poll received so many responses. As of today, the Globe’s tanker poll has received 6,990 responses, on par with a poll regarding the price of security for the G20 summit, which received 10,021 responses.
